SCD	Aug. 3, 2008. Montreal Highland Games (Sun.) Pierrefonds Sport Park (near Pierrefonds Blvd. & St. Jean Blvd., right behind the Pierrefonds Comprehensive High School) See map. We're Back !! The Montreal Branch RSCDS returns to the Montreal Highland Games / Scottish Festival that is, on Sunday 3 Aug 2008, at the Georges Springate Sports Complex, at the corner of Pierrefond and St. John's Blvds. in Pierrefonds. Come and spend a special day at the Games and do stop by to visit us in the area next to the Clans. This year we are giving away a Voucher form for new dancers, which will be good for three nights of dancing at any of our dance classes in the branch. As well there will be a separate info-sign up sheet for new dancers and one lucky person's name will be drawn who will be eligible for a one-year membership in the Branch. We look forward to seeing you all ! It'll be a great Day! Slainte mhath !! Come and enjoy all the usual activities - caber tossing, dance competitions, pipe bands, Scottish food and specialty booths. Admission: $15 (children under 12 FREE).

OTH NEW!	Aug. 7, 2004. Military Tattoo ???????????? (Sat. 7:00pm ) Stewart Museum, The Old Fort, Île-Ste-Hélène, Montreal Featuring historical drill re-enactments by La Compagnie franche de la Marine, the pipes and drums of the 78th Fraser Highlanders, Highland Dancing and more. A sound and light show in pure military tradition. (Note: In case of inclement weather, this event will be postponed to the following day.) Tickets: There is an admission fee that includes both the show and the museum exhibit, TBA. Info/Reservations: (514) 861-6701. See http://www.stewart-museum.org for information.
VAC NEW!	Aug. 8-15, 2004. TAC Summer School ???????????? (1 week, Sun.-Sun.) St. Jerome's College, Waterloo ON (Canada) Sponsored by the Teachers Association of Canada. Teachers: Marjorie McLaughlin (San Diego, CA), Fiona Miller (Lethbridge, AB). Music: Bobby Brown & the Scottish Accent; Elma Grech; Elke Baker. Live music for all classes.
